Authors & Research Contributors
This section documents the individuals responsible for research, writing, chemical interpretation, and editorial verification across CleanFormulation. Each author contributes within a defined role, whether in formulation analysis, molecular chemistry, structured research writing, or editorial review.
All content published on CleanFormulation follows the research framework outlined in research methodology, with strict separation between explanation and advice. Author roles are transparent, and responsibilities are clearly defined within the editorial system described in Editorial Team & Contributors.
Founder & Research Lead
Primary research direction, methodology design, and final verification of all published material.
The research framework of CleanFormulation is defined and maintained by the founder, including evidence standards, interpretation boundaries, and editorial control across ingredient and formulation analysis.
Chemistry Research Contributors
Contributors working at the level of molecular chemistry, analytical interpretation, and formulation behavior. Their work supports explanation of ingredient function, structure–interaction relationships, and chemical systems within cleansing products.
- Dr Misbah Shahid — PhD Chemistry, Molecular & Coordination Chemistry
- Mehak Manzoor — MSc Chemistry, Molecular Interaction & Environmental Chemistry
These contributors provide technical depth in areas such as coordination chemistry, protein–ligand interactions, analytical characterization, and computational interpretation of chemical systems, supporting the translation of complex chemistry into structured formulation explanations.
Research & Editorial Roles
In addition to authors, CleanFormulation operates through structured internal roles that control topic selection, risk evaluation, and content preparation.
- Ahmad — Research Selection & Ethics Review
- Tanisha — Junior Research Writer
These roles ensure that topics are relevant, non-duplicative, and aligned with editorial policy. All drafted material undergoes structured review before publication to maintain accuracy, neutrality, and clarity.
Role Separation & System Design
CleanFormulation does not operate as a general content platform. Each published page is the result of a layered process:
- Topic identification and screening
- Evidence collection from regulatory and scientific sources
- Structured drafting focused on explanation, not recommendation
- Technical review for chemical accuracy
- Final verification under the research framework
This separation ensures that no single stage defines the output. Writing, interpretation, and verification remain distinct functions within the system.
Transparency & Attribution
Each article, ingredient page, or formulation guide includes clear attribution of authorship and review where applicable. No anonymous or undisclosed contributors participate in content creation.
Author profiles document academic background, research areas, and scope of contribution. This allows readers to understand the level of expertise involved in each type of content.
Research Context & Output Areas
Author contributions are reflected across multiple areas of the CleanFormulation system:
- Ingredient analysis and functional classification
- Soap formulation and behavior
- Detergent systems and surfactant dynamics
- Cosmetic cleansing products and formulation context
- Methodology and research documentation
Each area requires a different level of technical interpretation, from molecular explanation to formulation-level behavior.
Independence & Editorial Control
CleanFormulation operates as an independent research system. Authors and contributors do not produce sponsored content, and no commercial influence determines topic selection or conclusions.
All interpretation is based on available evidence, regulatory context, and formulation relevance. Where uncertainty exists, it is stated explicitly.
